MarlinsFan
I have noticed this for a while now, not sure if anyone else has. The way the wind is set in the game, changes the pitch speed of the pitcher, for example. I once created a pitcher able to throw 88mph fork/101 mph fastball/93mph slider etc... When pitching at Coors field once, I noticed I was throwing the slider at 96 mph/92mph fork/105 mph fastball. Well to test it out, when back into sim options and picked coors to play again, when I started playing again I was just throwing at the regular speeds, 101, 88, etc... After messing around for a while I noticed that winds SouthEast at 15mph gave the pitcher an increase in his pitching speed. Some times Burnett threw at 97, when he usually throws at around 100 in the game. Not sure if any haave encountered this in the past, so just wanted to share. I Guess EA, used wind speed to vary out the pitcher speeds as in real life.
