texasrut
I downloaded Ultimate Rosters 2.35, and for the life of me could not get the in-game rosters to update. I continually followed these steps after searching the forums: 1. Open the 2.35 .mbe file in MVPedit 2. Click the export button from the toolbar and select the data/database folder. 3. Click Ok when it asked me to overwrite I would then enter the game and go to the Astros roster page to find Brandon Duckworth (who was mercifully dumped to tthe minors ages ago) still in the MLB starting rotation. It was obvious that the in-game rosters were not updated. I tried it over and over again with the same result each time. Finally in desperation I moved all of the contents of my database folder into a new file and tried to export them one more time. IT wrote all new files and finally worked. I'm under the impression that this is not the way it is supposed to work. Anybody have any suggestions as to what I was doing wrong? I promised I have searched and searched for hours. MarkB
You may have to click Reset Rosters to get the changes you've made to show up.
texasrut
I tried it, but it didn't work. The workaround I've figured out is just to export the files to a different directory, and then copy and paste them over the files in datadatabase
MarkB
Hmmm...that's strange. As long as it works, I guess.
