kevattac
Swept! Mariners' House gets cleaned by Rangers Mariners 1 Rangers 2 The Mariners have played 2 3 game series this year, and the mood and the end of the game 2s have been polar opposite. In the Twins series the Mariners were looking to do the house cleaning, while against the Rangers they were trying to avoid the broom. The Mariners would lose game 3 in both series. Jamie Moyer pitched a complete game, and the only mistake he made was to Richard Hidalgo. He made him pay to the tune of 400ft. The Mariners were lackluster on offense. Raul Ibanez continued his hitting tear, having now gotten a hit in 4 of the 5 games he played in. Boone and Reed each got a hit again today, and hopefully will continue to get hot. The Mariners will really need to get the bats going with Ichiro and Beltre both under the .200 mark. The next series is away against the Royals, which should be a good place to get started. Moyer pitches another strike; Ichiro's speed could not save the M's
kevattac
Anybody know any good music groups from Kansas City, MO that they would like me to write about? Thanks.
kevattac
Music Update 2: Location: Kansas City, MO Time in location: April 11- April 14 Opponent(s): Kansas City Royals Band: The Local Jazz Scene Most popular album: ? Jazz is very important in Kansas City, they even have the American Jazz History Museum there. Jazz really got big in the 1920s especially in Chicago, New Orleans, and Kansas City. The Jazz scene in KC was centered on Vine street, stretching from 12&Vine to 18&Vine. This area included clubs such as The Panama Club, The Vanity Fair, and Club Reno. These and many clubs relied on Jazz to keep them busy because this was during prohibition. Of course most if not all the clubs stayed wet despite the law. Many Great Jazz players flocked to "the Paris of the West," including Count Basie, Charlie Parker, and Duke Ellington. In the years following WW2 the city felt a letdown in terms of jazz, but made a comeback in the 80s with the construction of the museum, and a commision to keep the local scene alive. To this day KC is known for its jazz and of course, the ribs.
kevattac
Rockin on the Road Mariners best Royals The Mariners were needing a change of scenery after losing the series against the Rangers. It also helped to play the Royals. The Mariners win 3-0 with Joel Pinero pitching 8 innings of work, which allowed Eddie Guardado to pick up his first save of the year. On offense the M's were led with a solo jack by Richie Sexson, his 2nd of the year. Mike Morse continues to hit the ball well, along with Pat Borders. Two of the best hitters so far just happen to be the last two hitters in the order. The other hotty being Raul Ibanez, who got another hit today. Eddie celabrates his save; Mike Morse gets a hit
punishher
pretty low scores huh :chin: haha i had this problem with all-star at first..now i'm getting more runs, but i adjusted the pitching,Of,If, speeds..well.it's getting more realistic. yea doing fine man, keep up the good work :wtg:
kevattac
Trouble in Extras M's Lose on walkoff 4-2 Poor Gil Meche. First he gets shelled by the Rangers, and then when he finally pitches a good game, he gets a no decision. Meche is not the only pitcher upset, ask Julio Mateo. Anybody would be upset if they give up a walkoff jack, but when it is to the leadoff hitter, you are furious. Not that the o helped out too. Raul Ibanex provided some hope with a solo jack, but that is about it. Tommorow Aaron Sele will try to win the series in another matinee. All the games have been in the daytime in KC. Raul trots after his jack; Dejesus gets some love from his teamate

I beginning to learn to adjust. I now take pitces until it is a strike. If it gets to a 2-0 count I take until I have 2 strikes. I try to get better counts, just like real life. One thing I will adjust is the catcher throwing speed. It is insane on MVP level, I can't even steal with Ichiro. As you will see, my O came together in the next game........ kevattac
Thunderstruck! Mariners Use their lumber in 8-3 win All at once the Mariners decided to take out their frustration for the loss yesterday. Everybody seemed to be getting hits, infact everyone did, except for Ichiro. Manager Mike Hargrove says that Ichiro will get a seat tommorow night to get extensive work with the hitting coach to fix his swing. One player who got work with the hitting coach is producing results. With the bases loaded Bret Boone came up big, hitting a 3 rbi double down the right field line. Aaron Sele picked up the win giving up 3 runs. Tommorow the M's start a 3 game series against the White Sox. After that they go to Anaheim to face Los Angeles (:hmph:) for a two game mini series before coming home. kevattac
Hey what's that all about? That is just showing my displeasure of the whole Angels name situation. I would rather see it the California Angels or the Anaheim Angels. You can see the irony in the sentence that the face came from: "After that they go to Anaheim to face Los Angeles..." pez_dispenser21
Wow that does sound weird after you think about it. I'm a really big Angels fan actually they're my favorite team. My dad used to live a block away from the stadium and my aunt still does. I hate the name choice too but the problem is that it was the Angels choice which makes it even worse. kevattac
Hey folks I kinda upset with the way my owner mode was going. Not the record, I don't care to much how the M's do, it would be more realistic if they were bad. But the stats were really bugging me. Ichiro was batting about .120! I know that it is my fault, and that I should proabley adjust the sliders. But I always enjoy when playing a sports game, knowing I am playing at the highest default level. So to increase the stats for such players as Ichiro I simmed for a long way, about 3 weeks so that I am now in early-mid May. So if you wish, get ready for a fun ride, because owner Kev is upset with the performance of some players, and changes will be made.
