Yes, during the World Series Beckett wore the black alternate, Beckett is one of the few Marlins who has choice on what uniform the team wears. I think they other guys are Leiter and Conine. bravesj858 Posted June 9, 2005 Share Posted June 9, 2005 update on padres unis: the cami unis are worn on miltary appreation day (usually on the first or second homestand of the season) once a year (wish they wore them more). san diego has a big miltary popluation, so they should have done some more with that. the blue alt. tops (home and road) are the starting pitchers call. no pattern deterimed though...
