I was looking for a young base team and the rangers where my best choice.

Trading Young for Street is a stupid move. Young is in his prime at 28 yrs of age.

The fact that you're playing for the future (multiple dynasties) only allows you to fall prey to MVP's horrible dynasty/owner progression. Even the progression mod doesn't address many shortfalls.

Still, it's your dynasty so you can do what you want.

Rangers Lose Season Opener

The Rangers Bats forgot to show up tonight against Anaheim Angels. Bartolo Colon shut down the Rangers giving up only one earned run, while his counterpart Scott Kazmir was hit up for 5 runs in 6 innings. The Rangers were hoping their newly aquired young prospects would be effective, but they were no match to Anaheims Veterans.

Garret Anderson was selected Player of the Game because of his clutch hitting. With 2 outs in the 1st he hit a single to score Guerrero, and with 2 outs in the 4th he hit a double knocking in 2 runs.

Well, you press the code button, and then type away, hit preview to line everything up correctly, hit the code button again. It's very simple.

That was a heck of a lot easier than how I explained it to him:

What you do is: before you type what you want in the code box you type [co de]. Then when you are done, you type [/co de]. I hope that was a good explination - I'm not to good at explaining things.

Going, Going, Gone!!!

The Texas Rangers earned victory number one tonight against the Angels. Gavin Floyd had electric stuff, and Jeff Mathis and Hank Blaylock both helped the cause with homeruns. The opposing pitcher Jarrod Washburn did not do so great giving up 5 runs in 5 innings. The Rangers look to win game 3 of the series with the same offensive effort they gave tonight.

Jeff Mathis was selected player of the game because of his amazing power. Mathis hit 2 jimmy jacks, 1 in the 1st inning and one in the 4th. Along with the Rangers great offensive game, Texas played stellar defense with great plays from Blaylock and Teixeira
