Greg Rushton or Prince Fielder. Who Pans Out?

I have Fielder in AAA and Rushton is going to start MLB fulltime at first. Can someone please tell me which of these two end up being the better. Maybe someone who's played with either of them for a few years. I'm about to end 2006 season and would like to know if one of them should be trade bait since they'll fight for playing time and I don't know who to axe. Thanks.

I'm not really familiar with either of these players, haven't even heard of Rushton.

But, I think I can help you out here. This seems kinda dumb, and maybe you have already done this, but compare their career minor league stats, and see who is better.

If you've tried that already, sorry, but I'm just trying to help.

as far as in game i had rushton on my team for a decade and he panned out very well - even hit 60 HRs one year. i didn't have fielder on my team but i never heard much from him as far as leaders/awards - fielder made all-star teams but rushton ALWAYS lead first baseman in voting (once he became fulltime, after i released j.t. snow in year 3)

as far as real-life fielder, hands down - because "rushton" be a fake

avngres220 maybe you gave me enough info. just in case someone out there had fielder for quite a few years, please hook me up with info. no rushton info needed now. thanks.

thanks for the hint. i already did but just because they have 5 stars does not mean they'll have 50 homer seasons. that's all.

lets just drop this thread and i'll have to check this weekend and see about simming about 5 seasons worth to see how he pans out.
