Perfect until 9th inning, 1 out, A.J. Pierzynski reached base with a throwing error by Aaron Hill. The next ball I threw to first base, I caught him stealing, then finished Brian Anderson to finish the no-hitter... Total pitch used was 47... I went on to win the WS 4-3 Loaiza also pitched on 2!!!! DAYS REST won game 7 and won the WS MVP.. btw he pitched 6 and a third in that game 7 too lol.. He was one-strike away from a perfect game at the end of the ninth when Dallas MacPherson fell while catching a grounder--the runner made it to the base barely ahead of the throw. I did however pitch a perfect game with my super pitcher I modeled after myself (aside from the talent part obviously LOL). Not necessarily in the same year. However, I've never ever pitched the ones where you can walk batters or make fielding errors to take away hits and get a regular no-hitter. In 2012 I decided to pitch a game with Zumaya starting.. He had a 19 strikeout perfect game. He would go on to win back-to-back Cy Young awards. He had some filthy stuff though.
