I just pitched a 1 hitter. Braves vs. Yankees. Smoltz only allowed 1 friggin hit. A-Rod hits one to third and it hits the bag before Chipper can field it. He picks it up and throws, but I had to put a little extra on it and it pulls Tex off the bag. Very frustating! Would have been my first perfect game.

I pitched a no-hitter with one of the players in my CAP dynasty a couple of games back, vs Toronto. Walked Royce Clayton with 2 out in the 9th, so close to the perfecto.

I remember I simmed a game in which Jon Lieber pitched perfect ball for 10 innings until Chase Utley hit a walk-off in he bottom of the tenth to win 1-0... and I didn't play a single bit of it.

I just lost a game against the Atlanta Braves and Phil Niekro threw a no-hitter with 18 (!) Ks and two BBs. His stuff was nasty, especially the knuckleball.

Man, this feels awful... :-(

I threw a no hitter shutout once a while ago ... one walk or error from a perfect game by Pedro Martinez game 1 of the season verse St. Louis.

I wish I had used the boxscore extractor back then. However, I usually give up at least 10 hits per game. That's not good. One time I gave up 23 hits. Ouch !!

I actually threw my first ever no hitter with Dewon Brazelton on the xbox version of the game.

But more recently, I threw a 21 strikeout, perfect game against the yankees with Jake Peavy.

Congrads. :wtg:

i have yet to throw a no-hitter, but i came close with John Patterson of the Nationals. I was in the eighth, throwing a perfect game, just to give up a single to Dan Uggla

That sucked. Maybe next time. (Don't forget to throw at Uggla)

I've had it down to bottom 9th, 2 outs, 26 batters retired in a row.

And the batter, Orlando Cabrera, hit's a soft line drive at my 2nd baseman, Julio Lugo, and the game does one of those little glitches where he just stood there, and the ball went right by him, and he didn't reach out to catch it.

My only really close one was a couple of months ago. Playing as the red sox versus the yanks. Josh Beckett had a perfect game going in the 9th with 1 out. up comes johnny damon and gets an infield hit on a swinging bunt... :twak:
