Video Card Question

Loonsluv,

I think that would be a very good card... depending on the price you will be paying for it of course. Make sure your motherboard is AGP compatible (I don't mean to insult your intelligence but I am computer tech and you would be amazed at the amount of people who don't know what the heck I am talking about when I start spouting off) and that you are not over-paying for the card. The system RAM will make a BIG difference too.

I am a big fan of the ATi series of cards, make sure you also get the Catalyst 5.6 drivers from ATi... I guess then it is "Play-ball!"

Any decent graphics card will usually require a true 300w power supply....due to the fact that the card will require its own power line from your power supply....I myself would not get anything lower than a 350w.....prefferably a 420w would suffice just nice....A good power supply is a very important overlooked fact.
