reverend
Guys I made a new roster from stratch with complete majors-and minors. But when I try to use it in the game the game crashes. What could be possible problems? Do I need stats for CAP's? Or what is going on? MVPedit checks out with NO ERRORS! Please help. Thanks.
MarkB
It could be a number of things. At what point does the game crash? When you go to play a game, or does the game not load?
reverend
The game loads up, and you can see the rosters, but as soon as you try a game it crashes to the desktop.
reverend
Ok I just imported my major league teams from my roster onto the default roster and it would play. So I will check each level I guess.
MarkB
Try different 2 different teams. If it doesn't crash, I would guess that one (or more) of the audio/photo ID's is wrong on the teams you usually use.
reverend
Hmmm, like it won't work if their is a two guys using the same?
MarkB
No, that should work, but if you are using an ID that doesn't exist, then MVP will crash when it tries to load the photo.

reverend
Ok now I got all the teams to work, but there are now duplicates of All-Stars on the free agent list!

reverend
Hey I figured it out. OMG that took forever. When I imported my majorleague teams the file want to have two of each All-Star one for their home team and one for the All-Star team. Well they all were all ready on all-star teams so the duplicate went instead to the free agent list. I had to take the default roster and move every All-Star to AAA. Then import my major league team rosters without the All-Star on them. Then I had to call up the All-Stars before importing the real AAA teams, AA teams, and single A teams again. Wow. I had to do it three times. The first time I missed Danny Graves, the second time Esteban Loaiza. Yeah they were "All-Stars" last year. Each round I had to re-import every team. Well now I'm testing the roster fully so I can release it. Thanks for the help.
