Do you think my system can handle this card and, if not, any recommendations at around $200? Processor: AMD AthlonProcessor 1.2 GHz on ASUS mb Math Support: On Chip BIOS: Award Software 03/01/02 Bus Type: PCI,ISA,USB,AGP 4x (I think)... Lars777 Posted June 22, 2005 Share Posted June 22, 2005 By the looks of your system specs your system is just a lil outdated....Sure the card will run.....but it will not run at its maximum potential......the rest of your system will slow it down......you would be better served if you took that 200.00 and dropped it on a decent mobo and cpu......using the card you now have the ti4200 would work better on a new mobo and cpu......you can get a very decent mobo and cpu combo for that cash.....You would see much improvment with a new mobo and cpu and using that card you have now....rather than get a decent card and drp it in a slow system.
