wolfy6finger
OK, I reinstalled gfxpak and I kept getting the same error in MVPedit (it wouldn't show the Photos "No Pitcure Found") So, I thought maybe it had to do something w/ mvpedit (so I reinstalled that) kept getting the same error. Any time I switch players there Photo doesn't show and a window error report pops up. Saying "gfxpak.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." Can anyone help me on this! I've never had this problem before the last few days and I've had mvpedit (w/ gfxpak.exe) for months Thanks in advance

big shmooz
if you turn the pics off it will not display any pics though in MVP edit. If that's what you want, then by all means turn them off. However the reason you got the error is probably because you have 2,999 files in the portrait.big file. (same rule goes for cyberfaces) GFXPak can't read a file that has more than 2,999 files in it. I did just install Hory's last three update portraits too? Man--that sucks balls.
Rockfan616
Just out of curiousity, how do we know when we have too many files in portraits.big?? Is there a designated size that the file is before it's too big for gfxpak to be able to read it?? Mine is 135mb right now, and I'm getting the same gfxpak error that Wolfy was getting. Any thoughts on this?? Thanks!!!

Rockfan616
I did see that post Mastasports, but I haven't downloaded all of the portrait sets (at least not all of Hory's "Total Portraits") so I don't know how I could've gotten over 2,999 files in portraits.big as of yet. I had to reinstall my game a week ago because it had some corrupted files in it and I couldn't get it to load. I downloaded a lot of them but not all. Any ideas?? Later!!
BillyWatson1983
Hey I only have 2610 pictures in my portrait.big file and MVPEdit will not show the pictures. It continously says "no picture" for everyone.... And there's no gfxpak error... Any when I check the task manager with CTRL+ALT+DEL ... gfxpak isn't even running. I've tried to use Start > Run to make it run... but it just comes up and quickly goes away.... Does anyone know how I could make it keep running and make my portraits show when I'm using MVPEdit? I'm just trying to change a portrait by using MVPEdit and see if I can FINALLY figure out how to do it! lol.... Any help is greatly appreciated Thanks.
