Snash13
Depends on the Laptop. The Highend laptop nowadays are very good for gaming but most low-middle range ones arent

olyrunner
I've got a laptop that's a little over a year old with an ATI Mobility Radeon 9000 that played last year's game just great. Unfortunately it won't play this year's game (it acts as if it's in slow motion). Seems like some work fine, others (like mine) not so well. AstrosFanLB17
I play all my games on my laptop. It's about a year or so old and I've yet to have any issues. My desktop is over 3 years old and won't play any of the new games, so I don't have a choice anyway.
ftbllhead6
I have a DELL Inspiroon 6000. The graphics are these: Integrated Intel® Media Accelerator 900 Graphics offers solid performance at a great price. (6000) 64MB or 128MB DDR ATI's MOBILITYTM RADEONTM X300 PCI ExpressTM x16 Graphics. (6000d) The processor is this: ® Celeron® M processor and integrated graphics (6000) or can be upgraded to an Intel® Pentium® M Processor and dedicated ATI X300 graphics (6000d). I guess what I'm asking is if I can play a decent MVP 2005 running on this.

Sean O
I have a Dell Inspiron 6k and it plays mvp very well. Since my controller is DOA I've learned to use the keyboard, which except for ruining baserunning is pretty great. It's definitely a challenge when you can't pinpoint exactly where you want your pitches to go. But yeah, if it's new it shouldn't have a problem. AstroEric
The reason I started playing MVP is because the game was given to me by someone with a laptop who was frustrated it wouldn't play. --Eric
ftbllhead6
K thanks, my Dell Inspirion 6k is brand new, so I just wanted to check before I went out and bought the game. I have a Logitech controller. Thanks again :wtg:
RichKo
I went down to Best Buy and asked for the best gaming laptop. He recommended the e-machine M6809. Picked one up and I love it. Good price ($1200.00), huge screen and great tech support. Nothing but high praises. With Big O's new Fenway Park mod, it's just like watching TV! lautrec
I have an HPzv5000 model laptop, with ATI Radeon 9000 card. It's got the 15.4 wide screen, and I loaded it with 1256 MB of RAM, which the card shares 128MB, so I basically have 1128 MB (1.1 Gigs) of RAM to play with. I can leave my Norton antivirus runninng in the background, and still get smooth gameplay. One of the things to consider, of course, is how high to you HAVE to set your graphics to maximize your gaming enjoyment. Personally, I set my game to a medium resolution, and don't have everything maxed out, AND, very importantly, I don't use the megolithic uniform mods. They are very nice, but tend to slow my game down. Most other mods don't seem to bother the gameplay much. One that really helped, was to not use the shiny batting helmet options. Yes, the helmets look flat and fuzzy, but you get used to it, and soon forget compeletly about that. I also have a Saitek P880 controller hooked in one of the USB ports, and I don't think I could stand to play the game without it (those dual analogs are paramount for sliding, ptiching, baserunning and moving around in the batter's box). I thoroughly enjoy playing MVP2005 on my laptop, and due to my frequent traveling, it's very sweet to play when you are whiling away time in the evening in a hotel room. kevattac
I play on a Dell Inspiron 8600, with a psx to usb thing to make it seem like I am on ps2. By using fraps I was able to see that my game tops out at 30 frames a second or whatever. *A TIP FOR LAPTOP USERS* I was very upset that my game was stuck on low player detail level. Out of frustration I turned off my computer the bad way, by holding down the power button. For some odd reason when I turned the computer back on and went to MVP, I was allowed the option of increasing the detail level. Will it work for you? I don't know, but it works for me.
