punchout
I like being in a dynasty with a team that struggles a bit, not one that loses only 1 game a week. It seems almost whatever team I start a dynasty with, that team is awesome. Say I start one with the A's, then Haren and Harden will have ERA's of like 1.50 and the A's will be 20-7 and say the Twins or Indians might be doing horrible in the same dynasty. So I will start a dynasty up with the Indians and sim a few and I get the same thing, a great record and un-believable play from my guys. What fixes this anything? I have my difficulty on All-Star with custom sliders, but I didn't think that made a difference in simming? Any recomendations?
cb
The sliders and difficulty have nothing to do with simming. The variables when simming is mainly Team Chemistry and the skill of the team.
punchout
So why does it seem like I can do a dynasty and just sim, and watch like the Twins or Indians or Braves get like last place, so I can take them in a dynasty and just sim without changing anything and they win all the time. I can live with it....I guess.....lol.......I just wondered if datafiles or any downloads to change it at all.

pimpindem
Its great to see that someone is having "SIM" Success....I seem to have the exact opposite luck as u....I have had horrible records SIMING up to August 1 with the Yankees (were like 15 games outta first), Red Sox (10 games outta first and Manny Ramirez was hitting under .220 with 10 homers if I recall correctly playing all but a handful of games)......however, a SIM season with the Braves came up with the best record in baseball and I SIMED the playoffs and they swept the Division, NLCS, and WS.......go figure!!! I used various rosters so I suppose this post was rather pointless for fact, but interesting to me and hopefully you and others.....Its fascinating to me at least as this is my first season playing a baseball game that is truly current and almost 100% accurrate in so many ways thanks to the wonderful mods and updates this little community has. Inge15
Huh, whenever I sim (usually as the Tigers) I always win. I agree it is a little annoying. I want a realistic dynasty, not one where Detroit wins the Wold Series in the first year.
Gudraves
Well just to be different... :eew: I've been pretty even when I sim games, as even as you can be with Seattle... :lmao: Now on a side note, not trying to "jack yo tread homie" but I added to the thread and now shall exploit that ...I just updated rosters on my XBOX(thanx llcmac & hypnoxxx's 3.5) and I'm in love with these rosters, I made a few personal changes to a few guys; SS M. Morse, SP B. Madritsch, brought back RP V. Durazo. Too bad the real Mariners cant play this good :wall: EDIT - 5th smiley on this post -> :wtg:
low42
I'm in the 4th year of Cubs dynasty and I sim all games except for the ones my CAP pitches in, and I've noticed a few things the past couple of seasons. First of all, I do win a lot, but when I lose most of them are shut-outs. If I lose 70 games a season I'd say about 30-35 of 'em are shut-outs. Seems a little odd to me. Anyone else here having problems with getting shut-out a lot in simmed games after a few years in dynasty mode?
mvpmodder07
With my Yankee's dynasty- we usually win most of the games for the first few years but then start losing more and more. Every year we get a little worse.

Every year we get a little worse. Probably because all of the good players get old, decline, and retire. They are an old team. You should create Robinson Cano and Chien-Ming Wang, bring them up, and then maybe you'll have a chance again.
bilskie1
I simmed quite a bit with my "Fightins" and i had "middle 'o the road" luck. i got to the wild card game and beat the CUBS in 16 innings to go to the NLCS and sweep the Padres...so far
