Zelda55 Posted June 21, 2005 Share Posted June 21, 2005 I'm just wondering how EA Sports got Manny Ramirez's swing so wrong. I mean, come on, he's the cover guy. His stance is fine except he moves his legs more in real life, but he has one of the most distinct one-handed/semi-one-handed swings in the game. In MVP he always swings with two hands except on homers, which is just part of the home run "trot." Zelda55 Posted June 25, 2005 Author Share Posted June 25, 2005 i changed it to swing type 5 but he still swings with both hands. i'm not all that familiar with mvpedit, but im pretty sure i did it right. i opened the ultimate roster 2.35.mbe and changed his swing type to 5...nothing changed. am i just exporting it wrong? i do export, dat files. I believe that's been an on-going issue with users trying to figure out what each swing type represents. As far as I know, swing type 2 is the only one that has been figured out, with 2 representing a one-handed release. Thanks.
