Deathnotronic
Hey everyone, got a question for anyone if they may know about contracts playing Minor league baseball. I live in Greenville, SC where we have the Bombers, a Low-A Team of the Red Sox Affiliation, and today, me and my boss got into an argument because he said they only make about $200 a week. Now I was just wondering if he was right, close, or way off. If anyone can answer, I'd appreciate it.

rolliefingers08
i believe it's $5000 a month average, but most of the guys playing A have decent signing bonuses to tide them over. so in a year the guys would make something like $30,000. in AA or AAA the contracts are higher, cause I think the AAA minimum is $80,000 or something. mvpmodder07
They get paid like crap unless they are a big name player. If you get drafted in the last rounds you arent making jack. Most of these guys have offseason jobs to suppliment income.

Maybe more maybe less. So by the time they make AAA, probably 350 a week, just as if they worked a good job.
SwinginSoriano
they should get payed more than they do If only minor leaguers made livable wages and that owners weren't handing out millions to baseball players. Hell, players like Roger Maris only made middle-upper class money for playing baseball. Now utility infielders get set for life with their contracts.
