Creating Background Themes, HELP!

I've been experimenting with changing the background images for the game. I know where the files are located and I'm using EA Graphics Editor to change the files. However, whenever I run the game, once it comes apon a spot where there is a custom background, It crashes back to the desktop. Am I using the right program to import these images?

Any help would be appreciated. Please :help:

I'm editing the bkgrnds.big file, is there anything else I need to edit?

I think you need to extract each one you want to edit as a .fsh file and open it with fshed and then extract it again and edit it with either Paint Shop Pro or Photoshop then import it into fshed and import that into eagraph. I think.

OK, I've encountered another problem, when I go to fhsed to import the photos. the pictures I have saves don't show up because they are "Paint Shop Pro" items instead of .bmp files. Ugg, this is getting me really TO'd. I try to re-save the photo as bitmaps but the only option I have to save it as is a PSP item. UGG

OK, nevermind, I found a way to save it as a .bmp. This whole modding process is confusing. :lol:

OK, too add to the confusion, I finally prevented the game from crashing however, when the picture should show up on the game, it shaows just a white background, not the picture.

I changed the picture by using fshed, imported the .fsh file using biggui, and I have no idea why it isn't working.

Try compressing the imported fsh with biggui
