sdoyle7798
I am using Pirates tutorial as my guide on trying to make a stadium. So I opened the mstadium.o file in oedit, and went to the texture manager, and immediatly became confused. Pirates tutorial says: "Click on Texture – Manage Textures Open the file that looks like the ADS0 file or the stcs file. Open the UV Map Editor." I know where the ADS0 and stcs files are, but cannot get to them using the "Manage Texture" command in OEDit. I didn't export those files when I found them in FshEd. Is that my problem? Sorry if this is a dumb question, I just cannot figure it out.
MarlinsMY
Yes- you have to export them as .bmp files, and then load both into different slots in the "Manage Textures" window. You also have to designate which texture goes with which part - easy to see for ads, but sometimes more difficult for other parts. Hope that helps. ataris812
sdoyle, what stadium are you working on? Seeing that you are a Cards fan, I am hoping for someone to do some Oedit work on Busch Stadium. I tried doing some work on it with Oedit but I don't have the time to master it.
sdoyle7798
Well, to be honest, right now, I am just trying to play with a stadium to get the experience. I doubt I'd want to release what I end up creating...lol. Maybe after I get the feel for it, I'll do something. There is a great Busch in the "Downloads" though. Marlins, thanks for the reply, I'll check that when I get home. I think my problem is I try and do this stuff after work, and I get home at like 12:30 am...lol...not much rational thinking going on then.
