bill
Are there any left handed 2bman in mvp or in real life? Do you ever notice some of those rediculous throws they make while the player is not even facing 1b?
mcoll
the only time i've ever seen this happan in the game was with one of my created players and the cpu controling the subs. the cpomuter when it subs looks for an infielder then picks the best one it has on the bench not even looking at the the hand they throw with. as for real life not at second i havent this happan, but at third i have. many years ago the NNY played the Manriners back in the old king dome and the NNY used Manittingly at thrid fora game. i dont if it was an injury emgerancy or they had a roster issue foor a day or what they where doinbg, that's to long ago to remeber why it occured. its possible thorw ther been a few players to player to play all nine and one could have a lefty. there wasa palyer that a first basemen for the priates in the first half of the 80s that lefthanded and i know he played chatcher for a game vs the braves. i dont remeber the name but remeber he wore #30. this be about 82-84 time frame roughly. futzy99
Actually, most first basemen are lefty, but most other infielders are righty throwers.
SwinginSoriano
If you have a good arm and are left handed, you are groomed to pitch. Also, it is flat out impractical to field lefty at 2nd, 3rd, and short anyway.
mcoll
i agree its impractical to field as a left, i'm a lefty and know it is, but what i wrote does happan and the point was as it happaned, yes. i gave exsamples of such. imporactical yes, not impossible
rolliefingers08
yeah, that's coherent there was a lefty on my own team a few years ago that we put at short, just because he was so good that he was a waste in the OF or at first.
bruins
Lefty at short doesn't seem as impractical as a lefty at second. Also, a lot of lefty's play 3rd base also because it's easier to get the tag down, a lot like 1st.
