MVP Baseball 2005 is the best pc sports game ever, in my opinion. I have been a devotee to Madden for the last 4 years, but the mods on this site have really put MVP Baseball no 1 in my book. I have fine tuned my game with some mods here (spitoons, trues, etc.) as well making just a slight adjustment to the datafile <batterai> section (31 BallSpeedMaxMod_BatterPower;30 BallSpeedMinMod_BatterPower;) 31 1.143 and 30 .845, and the game is awesome now.
