Chicago11
At the end of baseball season are you going to make one final models.big file that incorporates all of the newest cyberfaces created this past month and one final roster with KC uniforms? I enjoyed your works and comments throughout this season. :hail: :hail:

Sidewinder
First of all, thanks for the input. Secondly, I really don't know as I have never used that program either. I don't even know where it is available. Schmooz, It is listed as the 2005 Stat roster. It's on the front page of MVPmods.com under latest downloads. What it does is update the game stats for the season and career. Very nice but it needs to work with your rosters. It is compatible with the latest Ultimate Rosters supposedly. Check it out and see what you think Thanks

bill
Shmooz, will your models.big be able to hold the latest DOTF 8 that will soon be released by bodhiball? I've been really lookin forward to that set of faces and hopefully there will be enough room left for them!
bill
I'm not sure which version I'm playing with ( I believe it's the one before the last one ), but I just thought I'd mention that Adam Miller's cyberface doesn't with any of the skintones in the game; his face is basically yellow. It's a good cyberface it's just that the color is off. Maybe you could do something about it. I made the cyberface. It was a REALLLLY low quality picture. Ive been pretty busy as of late but when i have a chance ill look at releasing an updated version cool? The funny thing is i made a few faces and then stopped playing cause of my schedule being back logged for weeks. Honestly; i havent even played with any of the cyberfaces i made; i only checked to see if they worked as in didnt crash the game.
Hollywood
Anyone come up with a fix for the crashing yet? Shmooz, have there been reported problems with the lite version? If not maybe I'll try that.
big shmooz
Shmooz, will your models.big be able to hold the latest DOTF 8 that will soon be released by bodhiball? I've been really lookin forward to that set of faces and hopefully there will be enough room left for them! Chances are not, unless some faces are removed. I am down to about 7 face spots left. (& I would like to save those spots for major league players)
big shmooz
Anyone come up with a fix for the crashing yet? Shmooz, have there been reported problems with the lite version? If not maybe I'll try that. I have not heard anything specifically about the lite version. However, as it seems to be totally random & not the uniforms, I don't see how the lite version should make a difference. However, it may just work. Since I don't see the logic of why it is freezing in the first place anyway.
big shmooz
My next roster release will thanks G-D contain updated stats. I also wish to thank Tony3. I appreciate it.
Sidewinder
Regarding the latest Stats 9.3 by Tony3, these are supposed to work with your rosters Shmooz. But when I install them, it places a folder named BS in the datadatabase directory. This is with your latest full rosters with KC uniforms. When I copy the contents of that folder to the datadatabase then and overwrite the existing 8 files, the game crashes back to desktop when going to the field after choosing game options, rosters, and stadium. The stats are the new updated ones in the rosters, but for some reason the game keeps crashing every time at the same point. Question is....where should Tony3's stats be copied to for overwriting your stats of your rosters? Because when I just copy them to datadatabase like Tony3's readme states to, the game keeps crashing back to desktop.

Because when I just copy them to datadatabase like Tony3's readme states to, the game keeps crashing back to desktop. I am not sure why it is crashing. Let me tell you what I did. I imported the files to the database folder just as you did. I made a new .mbe file with my rosters & then exported the new roster I made back to the database folder. Then I played a game & it played fine. Let me ask you something. Did you try multiple teams to play with? & did it crash no matter which teams you chose? If not, can you try different teams. I played with the Yankees verses Seattle & it worked fine. If it turns out that it did crash with only 2 specific teams, can you please post back which teams this happened with. Thanks. One more thing for you to try is, download the latest .mbe file I uploaded & export it to the database folder (this will save you the above step of creating an .mbe file) & see if that works. Please post back results.
bill
glad to see it updated. but im just curious how many faces did you replace and which minor leaguers? hopefully you changed the old 30+yr old never gonna make it big players like adam hyzdu etc. and kept the stud prospects. Actually my priorities went towards major league players to keep. I have had to so far only delete a few players, since the bulk of the cyberfaces came out of the numbers freed from the free agent pool. However, they are the lower minor leaguers of my roster (A or AA players) that I have so far eliminated.

big shmooz
may i suggest replacing the heroes and legends cyberfaces? Actually that was a thought I kinda had myself, but I was thinking, what if people want to play with them? I would need to make a whole new models.big LOL (I may even decide to do that, but if I did do that, I am not sure which version of my uploads I would do it with)
elway8
Big Shmooz, from reading the previous posts, is it safe to assume that you have not included the new "down on the farm" like v8 and v9 with your lastest releases? If this is true, is there any way that you could include the a majority of the minor leagues from the "down on the farms" in a future release (when ever your next version is)? I enjoy playing with the minor league teams in exhibition mode, but moreover in my dynasty, when I bring up the top prospects I prefer the these players to have their "own faces" rather than generic ones. If you don't include the "DOF" minor league faces in your releases, can I manually add them in via MVPEdit or will the game crash cause the final will be too big? Thanks. xvdarkyvx
i've been trying to download the rosters since yesterday. no help at all. the site cuts my download off like half way through or 90% way through. the .big file is corrupt and I can't do anything about it. any tips? Sidewinder
I am having the same problem downloading your BS roster update with KC's uniforms. It cuts off around 30 megs or so and when I go to install I get CRC errors, of course. I tried downloading it 3 times. Never had a problem before. I cant play the game because now my models.big file is corrupted.
Sidewinder
Ok, I finally got a full download and installed everything and it works great. Also, I noticed the stats are all updated too! Gotta love it. Thanks again, Big Schmooz

Actually I have included some of the down on the farm players, but unfortunately not all. If you add the ones I did not add, they will have to take the place of somebody else's face. This is why I did not add all of them to begin with. All the cyberface slots are now used up. Also the way to add them is not really via mvpedit. It is with eazip to compress & then eagraph.exe to install to the models.big. Then you change the players cyberface number in mvpedit & export the rosters back to your database folder. Btw... instructions on how to do this are included in the second readme in the download.
