I think Shmooze stated there was a bug in it that he couldnt fix at this time and it was pulled a few days ago. I have been waiting for an update on the situation.

There was no bug in the last one. There was an issue with the file before the last one where the transfer or the upload was unsuccessful (not sure where the corruption happened on the Umachine models.big) However as I stated above, that issue was resolved with a later update. There is a side issue now that has absolutely nothing to do with the files themselves that caused the downloads to be removed. Till this side issue is resolved (if ever) the files will not be restored. I apologize but this is not my fault. This issue is out of my hands.

Hey can we install these now or should we wait until UR 7 is out?

If you already have the last version I put out, it may pay to just keep that one. However you won't really lose anything by using the updated models.big unless you are using players that are free agents in version 6.5 rosters. Because I replaced some players that will be deleted from version 7 so as to use those cyberface numbers for some new players.

The thing is, it also depends on which version of the models.big you are using. If you are using cyberface only, you won't really gain anything by using it till 7.0 comes out. If however you are using moser version, you will gain in that many uniforms have been updated for batting gloves & catchers gear on the Major league teams. In the minors (& also a couple of major league teams) you will find a bunch of newly added uniforms. (plus a correction to one of the Yankee & 2 Phillie uniforms)

Some of the newly added uniforms apply to the Umachine version of the models.big also.

Shmooz, glad to see models.big back up! Hey, if I installed KCCitystar's uniforms on top of any of the models.big version, will I be risking a crash? If I use KC's uni's I would download the LITE version and then install it on stop of/after downloading models.big?

i've read in several threads that there are rosters included in the new files. well, i can't seem to find roster in the .ace files. how does it come ?!?

There are no rosters included as you'll have to download UR 7.0 separately when it's released on June 30th.

It should be totally fine. Yes, I in fact recommend you use the lite version for this purpose, for two reasons.

1) it's a smaller download. & since you will only be using the KC uniforms updated to it, why download more stuff than that. However I want to explain that there is one downside to this. The downside is, I have added minor league uniforms too. Those will be unavailable to you if you download only the lite version.

2) The uniform matchup screen will be all messed up for you if you use a different version other than the lite & then install the KC unis. If you decide though to go the route of downloading a different version in order to get the extra minor leagues, I recommend downloading the moser version above the umachine, because in that version the uniform matchup screen is closer to being correct than the Umachine one for the purposes of the KCcitystar unis install.

Just realize it won't be perfect even with this one. (but the differences will be alot less) However if you do not plan on using the minor leagues, I would completely recommend downloading the lite version.

Hi people.

As this's the only topic talking about Big Shmooz models.big file I found in this forum, I will ask you here.

Before ask, let me apologize myself here by my english: as you can see, I am not American (I'm Brazilian) and I have never completed an english course, so it's not fluent as I wanted to be. Sorry so.

My question is about a problem that is happening with some cyberfaces after I instaled Big Shmooz models.big, uniforms.big and logos.big files. Some players have a real strange faces, something like four eyes, two faces - not normal game faces.

I have some pictures of it here, but I am total newbie on these forums and I have no idea how to upload it from my PC to appear in my topic, so I attached it.

Anyway, I guess some people had the same problem, so maybe the soluction is somewhere here too.

Any help will be appreciated.

And by the way, Big Shmooz made a real good job in his "update", if wasn't the cyberfaces problem, I can say that's really perfect.

What roster are you using?

I think that's something that happens if the "2004 face" option is incorrectly set (just guessing).

What's this "2004 face" option you talked about?

Others could describe it better, but basically it's the format that cyberfaces use. The format changed between 2004 and 2005, but not all of the faces were updated. If they weren't changed, the player info was set to use the "2004 face".

you are right, the face type is wrong

Either set the detail to the highest setting or use MVPedit and change the face type

People... when the UR rosters version 7.0 comes out, all this will have been corrected.

(I did say in the readme that the models.big was meant to be used in 7.0)

Btw... I have heard some people complain about the double faces but have never actually seen it myself till now. Now I know why. I guess it's because as kraw explained, I have always had my game options set to the highest detail.

I can't set the detail because my video card (nVidia Geforce 4MX440 128MB) doesn't allow it. I have to play with the lowest detail. Isn't there another way to change the faces without doing this or changing one by one with MVPedit?

People... I have figured out what was causing the crash on the corrected fsh files of the cyberfaces when I fixed the ones that were missing the metal bin & name binary files.

I will be working on finding all the faces that are missing those files & fixing them. This is somewhat time consuming, plus the fact that I got engaged last night (yay) may result in this being a bit longer than having the fixed version released as of yesterday. (if you get my drift)

But the bright side is, at least I now know what I am doing & know HOW to fix it.

It's not one by one. & anyway if you can hold out till 7.0 is released this issue will G_D willing no longer be a problem.

Of course I can wait Shmooz. Let me tell you something: I was updating all rosters by myself. I know, I know, you may call me crazy, but so I found this forum and gave up of my old plan, lol.

So a last question: what's the prevision of UR 7.0 releasing?

I will be working on finding all the faces that are missing those files & fixing them. This is somewhat time consuming, plus the fact that I got engaged last night (yay) may result in this being a bit longer than having the fixed version released as of yesterday. (if you get my drift)

But the bright side is, at least I now know what I am doing & know HOW to fix it.

Honestly, the hell with the models.big file (for now at least, heh :D ).
