Ok here it is, my first dynasty Ive been able to start since getting the game, I dont know how long I will be able to keep it up because of my work on the College mod takes a bunch of time but Im hoping to get a couple games a week played.

Tigers cold in opener

Game #1

Detroit,Michigan-The Tigers couldnt get anything going on offense as the Royals defeated Detroit 3-0 on opening day at the new Tiger Stadium. Jose Lima pitched a 1-hit shutout and Mike Sweeney drove in a pair of runs in the 8th for Kansas City, Jeremy Bonderman pitched a nice game allowing 1 run on 9 hits in 7.1 innings. The Tigers were stumped as to why their bats werent producing " It's just one of those nights where nothing seems to go your way" Craig Monroe commented. The Tigers play Kansas in game #2 tomorrow at 7:00.

Tigers drop 2nd straight

Ambiorix Burgos pitched two perfect innings to seal the deal and earn the save.

Detroit, MI- The Tigers dropped their second straight game to the Kansas City Royals yesterday 6-1 , Roberto Hernandez allowed only 1 run on 4 hits through 7 innings giving KC a much needed series win to open the season. Mike Maroth allowed 4 runs on 13 hits for the loss, Dimitri Young knocked his 1st home run of the season in the 2nd inning for the Tigers' only run. "Our bats just need to heat up, the pitching isnt as bad as it looks" Young said. Ruben Gotay was the offensive hero for KC going 4-5 with 3 runs scored. The finale of the series is tomorrow night at Tiger Staidum at the usual 7 O'clock time slot.
