krawhitham
It's just in .sav, sorry. Any other suggestions for changes before 2.2? I need a MBE or dat files to convert to over for consoles
mooseknucks
I'll see what I can do, but it won't be ready till tomorrow after 11ish and before 3:30.
mooseknucks
Also, if it's possible by myself pedro and Sean, we're gonna try and release three different versions in the same file; DAT files in one folder, a .mbe file and a .sav file to appease all likings. Console versions will be released seperately.

pedrospecialk
I moved him to the DBacks when you suggested. It will certainly be changed for the next one.
mooseknucks
Alright I've tried to the best of my abilities but I can't possibly get MVP Edit to work, let alone make a .mbe and DAT files.
Expos4Ever
Alright I've tried to the best of my abilities but I can't possibly get MVP Edit to work, let alone make a .mbe and DAT files. You can't convert .sav file to .mbe file. Don't tell me you didn't use Mvpedit to do this roster :gack:
mooseknucks
Obviously not. Otherwise we'd have a .mbe ... we may have to start from scratch but that's only if we want to make everyone happy.
Expos4Ever
don't bother then, it'll be too much work. Why didn't you use MVPedit. A lot easier and a lot more flexible. Thanks, nice job.
pedrospecialk
My MVPedit doesn't work - due to this really weird Trojan I got due to looking at... wholesome, Christian websites... I get a setup prompt for Microsoft Quickbooks whenever I start up MVPedit.

mooseknucks
 A few more hours of trying to figure who to make MVP Edit work and I've come up with ... a laggy *** computer and no MVP Edit. I don't know what the problem is. It just doesn't work!!! :eew:
Kriegz
I had a problem with it at first, but then I realized that you have to have every program closed other than the vital ones because MVPEdit is a resource hog

mooseknucks
Pedro will be releasing the latest update (v2.4) at the trade deadline and than v2.5 will be released after the waiver trades are done. I don't plan on being here until the trade deadline so it will be under his name and in a new thread. Thank you and have a horrible night.

pedrospecialk
Er... are you sure about that? I'm 100% sure that it's the correct roster and that if you put it in the My Documents/MVP Baseball 2005 folder, it'd work. Let the investigation begin! mooseknucks
Did either of you extract them or did you just throw the .rar file in the folder? If you didn't, give that a shot and let me know what happens.
scharf
Nah, i extracted just the .sav.
mooseknucks
We're currently attempting to figure out the problem. If nothing is acheived, I'll reupload them from my computer to see if it works. Sorry for the inconvenience.
