Guest McCovey521
This is very complicated to me. Can someone break it down step by step? What utilities do I need to install the uniforms? I have the rosters installed very good I might add, just need help with the uniforms.

Guest McCovey521
What kind of answer is that? Just edit? edit what? Explain
Guest McCovey521
I can't believe no one will offer to explain in laymans terms, how to install these uniforms. I read the read-me, and it doesnt explain it in terms you can understand, such as how do you transfer the files , what do you use to transfer them, in other words a step by step process for installing these uniforms. I have the rosters loaded. I dont want the default uniforms to show up. Everything was so simple before. Just d/l the file, walla, instant uniforms, now the files to big to work with GFXPak, more complications.
mastasports1
Which file did you download?
ThatsSwan
u should post this in big shmoozes thread in the anouncement section
Guest McCovey521
I did post this in announcements, and it was ignored. People want you to use their files, but won't explain how to use them, in laymans terms, so people can understand. I d/ld Big Schmooz'es ulitmate roster update 2.35 with the uniforms. mastasports1
Export the data folder which comes in the .rar file to your Program Files/EA Sports/MVP Baseball 2005 folder, hit yes to overwrite, and the subfolders are set for everything will be installed. If you downloaded just the .mbe file, place it in your Program FIles/MVPedit folder and load it up in MVPedit. I can't believe no one will offer to explain in laymans terms, how to install these uniforms Just an FYI: moderators don't like it when somebody a) Posts twice in a row Grumbles about nobody giving help 20 minutes after they asked the question. Guest McCovey521
Thx for the reply Mastasports, however, I've been inquiring for 2 days now, answers to my questions and until you stepped up to the plate(no pun intended) nobody answered a simple question. Its not about me grumbling. I mean thats what this forum is suppose to be about right? This process is a little more complicated than just installing a set of uniforms correct? Thx for the reply. But just keep in mind that while, yes, there are 10,000+ members here, people do have lives, jobs, and commitments, and just because somebody doesn't answer your question doesn't mean you are intentionally forgotten or ignored. As such, due to the number of members, there are a multitude of different threads asking different questions, and it can be very easy for something to be overlooked. The best thing is to keep your cool, and remember that you are the one asking the favor, not them. :wtg:
Guest McCovey521
I'am keeping my cool man. Nobody's upset, especially over a game. I just find it hard to believe that some of the most inmaterial questions get asked, and the ones that are important don't. I did what u said and the uniforms still don't show up. I'm about ready to give up on this sh-t. BTW, you sound like you're a moderator.

OK- It looks like we'll have to go through things step-by-step here. What steps are you taking from the point of download to the point where you check to see if the uniforms have been applied? Guest McCovey521
I exported the datafile to MVPBB05 folder. I exported the uniforms.big file to where it resides. I didnt use any utilities such as mvpedit, eagraph or biggui. I havent the slightest idea on how to use them. Is there any other way to get the ultimate rosters and the uniforms to work besides this? biker_jim_uk
the reason most people probably didn't answer is because no-one else seems to have a problem copying the models.big into the data folder, maybe because it is so simple? It is so hard to see where you are going wrong that people don't know where to start with the help, save for copying out the readme.
Guest McCovey521
I won't comment on your remarks Biker_Jim I'll just leave it at that. It's other people on this forum, that have had problems just as myself. Just do a search and you'll see that. I finally got it to work, without anyone's input. The read-me file complicates it more if you ask me. with all these utilities it says you have to have. Come to find out, I didnt need any of them. big shmooz
The readme actually seemed comlicated to you only because you assumed you needed those things to install the files. I never said you did in the readme. I said if you are looking to edit the files in the future by adding more uniforms or cyberfaces that you need to use those programs. The installation itself is extremely simple. The following is the quote from my readme.... "Ok... now on to the installaion of these files. Simply extract the file to your main mvp 2005 folder. That's it. The extraction process will do the rest for you." The only thing I can see that may have made this clearer is perhaps if I had said "extract the download to your main mvp 2005 folder". For this omission I do apologize.
