Rockfan616 Posted July 3, 2005 Share Posted July 3, 2005 OK guys I need your help here. I've somehow run into a problem in which I can't get the game to run anymore at all. It crashes when it's loading. I've tried updating DirectX (to 9.0C), I've tried reinstalling stadium files from the CD, I've looked thru MVPedit to see if I had any cyberfaces in the roster I'm using (BBfans editing of Real Mania rosters) and there weren't any(I never downloaded any either, since I've read about the problems that they sometimes cause), I didn't see any of the files in EAGraph that were corrupted at all. So I really can't figure out what the problem would be and why I can't play the game. I even tried an uninstall and reinstall of the game and that didn't do anything either. Just a couple of days ago I could load the game and get into the rosters and start up a dynasty but when I tried to play a game Z(instead of manage or sim) it would crash. Now I can't get anything to work at all. :wall: Not sure what I'm doing wrong here but if anyone can help me I would appreciate it. Thanks!!! Rockfan616 Posted July 3, 2005 Author Share Posted July 3, 2005 In case anyone was wondering, the files I've downloaded are UMachines uni updates (all of them, I like his stuff the best!!), BBFans roster (which he edited from Real Mania), the bat selector, a couple of Trues' overlays (Bay Area is the one I wanted to use since I'm planning on starting an A's dynasty), and Roddata's datafile (the first one I believe). and I can't get anything to load for some reason. I'll give it a shot, thanks man!! :hail: One more thing though, I did notice last week that there were new drivers for my video card (Geforce FX 5200 AGP) so I downloaded and installed those. spitoon Posted July 3, 2005 Share Posted July 3, 2005 Drivers could be your issue, I've had a few problems with them so you might want to try re-installing the driver. As far as mods go, Kumala's suggestion is right on. Start fresh (make sure it runs as a fresh, non modded install), then add mods one by one and make sure the game works with each one, then if it doesn't you can pin down which mod is causing the problem for you.
