Does anybody know of a program similar to fraps but works with WinME?

According to markb's faq, Howie's Quick Screen Capture Tool might do the trick.

I ran into a small problem with this, I took the screen, and the image is real wierd, it caught the close up stuff but the rest is black

I will answer you:

you are doing everything wrong since the very first moment you installed winme in your PC.

howie's program is what i use, and it works pretty well for the most part, but once in awhile you'll find that a screenshot will have a player missing if they're doing something specific, like jumping, cheering, diving, etc, but it's usually right.

Now, for the solution - what rolliefingers08 said. I noticed that a lot with High Heat 2004, but I've never had the problem with MVP '04 or '05. I even e-mailed Howie about it (very nice guy, BTW) and he said that because it just grabs the image as it is, it will sometimes get it in the middle of a transition, so parts of the screenshot will come up black or will look odd. The habit I've gotten into when using it with HH04 was to take a few screenshots of what I wanted, then, if the first one is fine, you can delete the other 2, but it means you won't miss that great moment because the chances of 3 files being messed up are a lot smaller than one file.

i believe fraps v1.9 works for all win os..........i know it works for 98...and im pretty sure it works for winme

yep, this is how I have got pics of players without their caps

i think i found that once.

i've also had a cut scene in the dugout with players celebrating with eachother or talking about why the manager got booted, and in the screenshot one player isnt there.

I think torement has the answer - an older version of Fraps.

I've used v1.9 on my Win98 PC, and it works just fine.
