bravesj858
im following yanks896's overlay tutorial to get my own overlay into the game, but i'm having problems when i get to this step: 9. Open the files in your image editor and edit. The alpha file is used to make the overlay images transparent. Wherever the alpha is black, the overlay is transparent. Wherever it is white, it’s not transparent. The darker it is, the more transparent the overlay is. Act as if the alpha is directly over top of the actual image. photoshop won't take the alpha images. am i missing something here?

five
photoshop won't take the alpha images. am i missing something here? Click on 'New Layer' in the Channels Tab. That'll make an alpha layer. Then you can just save it as a .tga and import it with FshED.
bravesj858
acually, the files won't open in anything. you are familar with the tutorial, correct? i can't go further than step 8 becuase the files won't go further. any tips? 7. These are the important files: ingameov.fsh • EABG.fsh - One of the main logos(whatever station you are doing an overlay for) • EASP.fsh - Same as above. pitchslc.fsh • Ps00-ps03 – Pitch selector if you want to change colors. • Psbr – the bar that shows how good a pitcher is at the certain pitch, if you want to change the color of that. • Sout – the main scoreboard that shows in game. • Scr2 – half the scoreboard that shows combined with the runner pip. • Scr0- the other half • pt15 - pt00 – Pitch type selector if you want to change that. 8. Whatever you want to change, click it. Click the export button. Select “24-bit Bitmap + Alpha Bitmap†and save.
