cb
Well, it seems like you can upload just about anything on this site, I think I even saw a scorecard this week. :hmph:
UncleMo
I know, I was going to pull a hoax myself and upload a word document that would simply say "This is proof that people will download anything". :lmao:

stecropper
A Schedule Mod would be something good to consider doing. Or at minimum a utility that allows you to Schedule either a 3, 5, or 7 Game Series between any two teams and used in Dynasty mode for that particular Series only. That way all the stats are keep during that Seires. I think that would be a welcomed mod and one not yet done.
UncleMo
Hmm, you guys want a CRAPO-2? Create A Player Options version 2? I learned how to do this myself and will do some testing of faces this week. Hopefully it will work A OK. If not, just let me know what needs to be modded that would be a great or cool thing. Heck, I'd do a Nick Name Mod version 2.
UncleMo
stecropper, why not ask me to make a nuclear bomb while you're at it :duh: I'll keep this one in mind, but anything else? :chin:
ataris812
I always thought a box score overlay would be cool. There are all sorts of Fox Sports and ESPN overlays for the in game score, but if you are watching the real game, the box score also has a FSN or ESPN or whatever overlay. I don't know if it is as easy to do as a regular overlay, but it would be nice touch in my opinion.
raindelay7
i think the one really big mod that mvp could use is a complete roster of all fantasy players - maybe including unique cyberfaces etc. I know from playing OOTP (Out of the Park Baseball) that playing a dynasty with all fantasy players is an incredible experience - it feels like your own little world and it is fun getting to know the players. Garrett67
being able to save the box scores to a file would be nice.

eugenefosho
Not to sound like an echo But stecropper makes a very good point. I think having a mod where you can play a series against another team would be awesome. i get the most fun out of this game playing against a friend, and it would be cool to see stats over the series (whos hot and cold). but i always thought modding a "playoff" mode was fundamentally impossible because of software issues? Mo if u can do it, that would be the best mod ever!!
MarkB
Mo, how about learning VB and creating a .sav file editor? :lmao:
UncleMo
"Mo, how about learning VB and creating a .sav file reader?" Don't know what a VB is is that Canadian Bacon's younger brother? :lmao:
MarkB
VB = Visual Basic. A programming language for creating programs.
UncleMo
Ah shoot that sounds really difficult. I think I'd rather find the cure to cancer.
MarkB
Well, the .sav file reader would be much easier to create, but I think I'd take the cure to cancer over it. I'd find it hard to justify choosing the ability to edit a file over saving the lives of probably millions per year.
stecropper
UncleMo, I already do the 3, 5 & 7 game scheduled Series deal although I do it on an individual (each time) basis. It works fine and certainly does allow for the stats to be kept over that Series length. I use BIGUI to extract the Schedule then hand edit the the two teams I am setting up for with the Textpad utility. I then reimport the adjusted schedule via BIGUI and replace the existing Schedule.big file in the game. The when I enter the game I set my profile to one of those teams and begin a Dynasty. That Dynasty has those 3, 5 or 7 games as the first games to be played in March. I also just delete all other game (in the Major League, AAA, AA & A) schedules that are scheduled during the month of March. So, then those Series games I set up are the only games scheduled in March. What I think would be neat would have a utility that does these several steps with BIGUI and Textpad automatically by just allowing a user to specify his two teams of choice along with his request for either a 3, 5 or 7 game Series between those two. Really not that difficult of a task for someone that has a bit of programming knowledge. This has really added to my enjoyment of the game since I use only Classic Teams and run a Tournament type format with them. At least all my Series Stats are kept for me and I move that Dynasty folder to a separate file to keep those Stats for as long as I wish. With the Savreader utility I can always go back to them to view the stats for those given Series quit easily. Don
Lars777
How about a mod where the ball kicks up some dust when its ripped through the infield!
UncleMo
lars777 you are on to something. that sounds great and if i could learn THAT then I can do a blood mod...hmmm. Anyone know now to do a mod where the ball kicks up some dust as it goes through the grass/field? :attention:
ataris812
That would be a hard one to do, I'd imagine. Since there is no existing graphic when the ball hits infield dirt, you would have to some how create that graphic, and put in the spot of the collision. Sounds even harder than curing cancer and AIDS combined.
Lars777
Well when the players slides he kicks up some dust.....we just need to find a way to get the ball to do that
