googles123
Hey guys, I did some searching but I couldn't get a clear cut answer. Ultimate seems to be the most widely used, and the one that I installed as it seems compatible with all other mods that follow the Player ID numbers. However, I have heard good things about Real Baseball System and Real Mania. What are the major differences between them? Ultimate = more accuracy and up to date in terms of players team, number etc System = more attention to specific ratings, concentration on MLB and major prospects, don't focus on the unkown players of A, AA etc? I had ultimate, I think it installed right because Barry bonds was there (i just extrated from mvpedit to database folder), then I started a new owner mode. The ratings in the fantasy draft didn't agree with me (maybe I am still using EA's), Cabrera was the 10th best RF, Kotsay was the best CF (damon way way down around 10th), Lowell was 2nd best 3b, D.Lee didn't get drafted till the tenth round. I was wondering if there were any other rosters that really focus on this season for ratings, where Derek Lee would be amoung top 3 1b, Roberts would be amoung top 3 2b etc? Obviously Ultimate is an awsome roster set, just wondering what people liked best for ratings that correspond well with this season? Other question: I have read some owner strategy guides, but no one seems to mention the strategy for drafting your staff, do they really matter? Anyone have a guide on this? I go: Manager, Hitting coach/pitching coach (whichever stands out from his class the most), Scout, Trainer, minors pitching/hitting, minor manager, scouts. Couldn't really figure out the best system, although the minor managers all seem the same so I just wait till the end with them. And I read if the manager argues a call, it can raise a player attributes, is that true?
five
I know a few of the players in Brooklyn's rosters focus on this years ratings. I think the best overall is the RBS Rosters. (Real Baseball)
