Carlos Delgado, Juan Pierre and other stars are becoming very close with Manager McKeon. Man. Jack says"I can't wait for the season to start up, these young men looked very promising in spring training. I can't control them they want to knock some balls that really mean something!" The predators that they call the Marlins pitching staff picked the Braves clean with a 6.2 inning performance by Josh Beckett. The Braves just sat in a little ball and took the beating from Carlos Delgado and the gang. Carlos was 2/2 with 1 HR and 2 RBI BB. The pitching really opened the door for the offense to score some runs with yet another shutout. Al Lieter was throwing the best stuff of his career. G. Mota closed out another, for the save. Al Lieter spoke to us," I was really putting them far into the corner at high speeds. Julio [Franco] didn't know what hit him, I was glad to strike him out after he singeled of a low changeup! Brian Mohler letting up a 3 run shot lost the fish the game. B. Mohler said;" (sobbing) I was in shock when I saw what i did" Marlins record (2,1) Sorry about no Screen shot.
