cbullsfan4life
I am running on 800 x 640 or whatever resolution. Is it my graphics card or what? I haven't gotten a better card than the Intel Graphics Controller on my Windows XP. Tell me specific specs I should run it on. Thanks! Also, is there any program that can help me learn the game better?
wilmer007
lol you need a much better video card. A $100 video card is a minimum for today's games. But don't expect to be running games like Battlefield 2 with a $100 video card. Basically what i'm trying to say is if you wanna play any games it's time to upgrade. The video card that come with PC won't cut it. Unless you custom build your PC the most you'll get on a video card that came with your pc is 32 MB and that's not enough. 64 MB or higher but most games run alot better with 128 MB or more. Otherwise with the video card that came with your pc you'll be playing games like solitare for the rest of your life. A video card upgrade is byfar the best investment you can make to a PC. Far more than RAM since RAM is cheaper and most games can run with 256 MB.
mroctober430
And MVP for PC is off the hook. I would suggest buying a new Video Card aswell.
capa
Get a video card (ATI or nVidia GeForce) with at least 128mb of memory. Also, make sure you have a minimum of 512mb of RAM. Unfortunately, these are considered the min specs these days for most new games.

spitoon
You might get that to look a little better by turning off helmet reflections and using 3D Analyze (search for it).
cbullsfan4life
Do you know what the best kind of video card is that is preferably under 100 dollars? I'm a cheapo. :help:
JoltinJoeCarter
i dunno, but a good one for under 1 bill? i'd have to say ebay, and thats considered risky by some people. here in canada, at boxing day, they have crazy video cards that go for 60 bucks. natsfan
Quick question: Does anyone know if MLB 2005 will run with only 256ram - provided that the graphics card is very good? Here's the situation I am in: 1. I have an older computer (3 years) that still has 256. 2. I don't have the exact specs on graphics card - but it's what shipped with the Dell - nothing special. I had no problems running MLB 2003 or 2004. 2005 will also run, but graphics are poor. For example, I cannot get anything but LOW detail on players. Question is: 1. Is it worth buying a new graphics card? Should that fix everything - more or less. (On 2004, I turned off the Live scoreboard replays.) 2. Would I be better served just bagging it - I'll probably get a new computer in 2006 anyway. Thanks!
