Zelda55
I was disappointed with the game's walk-off celebration, but it gets better in the playoffs. i hit a walkoff with big papi (ortiz) at fenway in the 10th and not only was his swing celebration just like in the alcs, but he pointed forward when he neared home plate and jumped up on it. i was still upset that only 4 or so players were there to greet him, but it is better than during the regular season, so try and do it in the playoffs. duckdodger215
celebrations in general suck on all sports games these days. especially EA. how horrible is it after winning the super bowl on madden?!?!?!
pitchleague
I had that pointing/jumping on home plate/mobbed by 4 or so teammates thing during a regular season walk-off job. Surprised the heck out of me so much that I had to wake up my wife and tell her!
Stix
celebrations in general suck on all sports games these days. especially EA. how horrible is it after winning the super bowl on madden?!?!?! It was better in 2005 than in 2004. Atleast they put in the cafetty(no clue how to spell that)in 2005.

Shef87
They should have had Ortiz throw his helmet off right before leaping to home like he did during his walk off against the Angels last year in the playoffs. And how hard could it have been for the makers to have the whole team at home? I mean, wtf, 4 or 5 players? that's retarded. I hope the World Series celebration isn't dumb too. JoltinJoeCarter
is there any way of someone recording one of these post seaosn walkoff homeruns for people to see. ive never seen this. i only see the crappy regular "celebration"
Zelda55
i would have recorded it but i wasn't thinking about that...seriously it was such a nice home run + celebration tho, especially because ortiz hit it to right field near the 380 sign in boston and the view they gave of him hitting it reminded me a lot of the alcs game 4 home run against the yankees. Expos4Ever
they probably didnt have enough of those little white ping pong sensor balls for more than 5 people. why do you need the sensor for celebrations? :chin: Can't they use IMAGINATIONS? mroctober430
In the playoffs, they have that homeplate camera. That's freakin awesome. Overall the homerun celebration are 'eh.

Kccitystar
Homeplate camera? Please explain. I believe it's when you strike a player out, a different camera angle which looks like you are looking at the batter, catcher and ump from the ground is shown on the strikeout replay... probaseball203
honestly, i think they did arite...espn mlb 2k5 duznt even have celebrations for homers! but i mean, some celebrations are like a trademark..and some players dont have it...like for example..furcal always kisses his chain and touches it and then points up at the sky...but they dont have enough space...i mean if they started making games with like super dvds lol i duno...but if they had a batting stance for most of the players it would amke SO MUCH MORE MONEY...so i duno why they wouldent think about it

AntiLeaf33
Its a camera thats in the ground a few feet in front of homeplate. It gives you a cool up-shot of the batter
mroctober430
^Like that. It shows you it after a homerun or a strikeout.
Zelda55
the camera that i liked best was just in front of the green monster: they showed big papi unleash one just like his real home run swing to right field. it was kind of like being in a real ballpark because it covered most of the field (you could already see the 380 sign in right field before he hit it.
