kashmir
Just updated to a Geforce4 MX 4000 recently and have noticed problems on all EASports games (although the only other games I've tested out are GTAs, and they all run fine). I get red and green pixelated text, transparent uniforms (MVP), sharp egded graphics popping out of no where and other stuff. I've installed the latest drivers and even older drives as well, but nothing has worked so far. Any help or advice, thanks. System Specs: Windows XP Home (SP 2) 512MB RAM AMD Athlon 3100+ 2.20GHz Nvidia GeForce4 MX 4000 128MB
mcoll
i hate saying this. but its time to ungrade the card. i the card is trying to handle more than it can take. they may run ok, mine did when when i replaced it, but the acutal grpahics are giving it problems beyod what it really needs. i think you done everything you can do now may be a good time to upgrade to an newer card. i recommend if money real issue an fx5200 128vid card, bu if you can affored it, get a geforce 6600 or 6800 series model. sorry i forget the letters in front of the throws at the moment, but ther seveal versions. they make them for agp and pci-e depending on what you have to use
Lars777
Are you overclocking the card at all?.......Try driver version 56.72....then after install go into the nivida control panel and make sure the settings for AA and AF are set to applaction controlled.....also make sure v-sync is set to applaction controlled....then go into refresh rate overide and set whatever resoultion you play the game at to 60Hz....I would probly figure you could play the game at a max res of 1024x768 but with some ingame graphics options off.....like helmet reflections off and so fourth.....playing at 800x600 will allow you to turn some of these on.....either way whatever the resoloution make sure you set it to 60mhz.......then try runnin the game......I have a buddy who is runnin the game on a real old g force 2 gts 64meg card and he is playin at 1024x768 with no problems at all.So that card should handle this game. spitoon
I thought that turning off Helmet Reflections helped with the transparent issue? Maybe try that as a start.
