It was cool. wt u mean the number of the base? u mean the arrows? Square = 3rd, Triangle = 2nd, Circle =1st. Then you hold L1 to pick 'em off. Press any of those to throw to that base. After about 100 games, I gave up on picking someone off, I figured it would never happen, so I just throw to first to keep runners closer to the bag. Well one day when I was the Devil Rays, playing the Marlins in interleague play it happen.With Dewon Brazelton on the mound and Juan Pierre at first I got him.I fired to first just to get him back and he didn't start to move till it was too late. Travis Lee tagged him before he got back and he was gone. I was so shocked I just stared at the screen. So its not impossible, but its rare indeed.At least for me it is.
