chakfu Posted July 10, 2005 Share Posted July 10, 2005 I was playing against the white sox and was helped to victory when the CPU had 4 errors in the first 3 innings on routine plays where the 1st baseman was pulled off the bag. 3 errors were charged to Iguchi, 1 to Uribe. Most of the time I go about half way on the meter and that gives me a strong accurate throw. You also have to be aware of who is running, if it's a big guy like a Giambi or an Ortiz, you have all the time in the world, but with guys like Crawford and Ichiro, that's when you go into the red zone. Or the 1B drops the ball for no reason, that one ticks me off good. choppinnecks Posted July 11, 2005 Share Posted July 11, 2005 A great one is when you have a man on first and you hit what you think is an infield single but the SS fields the ball and throws it to first pulling the first baseman off of the bag and the ump calls you out. So instead of first and second with no outs you have a man on second with one out.
