betoe
The problem here is that always when i want to start a baseball game, when the presentation of the first batter of the game (no matters which team is, even in demo mode) end, the game is suddenly closed. I think its by my damned & cheapest S3 savage 4 video & sound (this last integrated on the mainboard) card. In tech support it appear this: http://betoe.imgoingbed.com/easyinfo.bmp This is what i have: 1) i dont have mods installed. 2) system specs: windows ME and XP Its really hot here , 15 miles south of the cancer tropic (but i think it doesnt matter, my CPU its opened, i put some cheapest fans inside. 512 KB RAM System model: ECS P4VXASD 1.0 Asset Tag: 0123ABC Enclosure Type: Desktop Processor: 1.30 gigahertz Intel Pentium 4 8 kilobyte primary memory cache 256 kilobyte secondary memory cache Main circuit board: Board: ECS P4VXASD 1.0 Bus Clock: 100 megahertz BIOS: American Megatrends Inc. 07.00T 04/02/01 Display: S3 Inc. Savage4 (Engineering BitFlip) [Display adapter] HP V50 [Monitor] (13.8"vis, s/n THTDM00029, Septiembre 2001) Multimedia: Dispositivo MIDI compatible con MPU-401 Puerto para joystick VIA AC'97 Enhanced Audio Controller (WDM) This are the screenies: http://betoe.imgoingbed.com/screen1.bmp http://betoe.imgoingbed.com/screen2.bmp http://betoe.imgoingbed.com/screen3.bmp In the second one the outfields seems very bad in the game, like it was raining. Also i put the links coz the images are BMP's, dont know why damned paint dont gave me the option for save as JPG. After the third one, the game crashes and the desktop appear on the screen. I had tried some drivers for this devices but no one worked correctly for the game. Does anybody have similar hardware? Its difficult to obtain the latest drivers for this hardware, i will never buy another PC like this (i did it coz i didnt enough money for a better one). Hope somebody can help me. spitoon
I'm 100% sure the S3 savage 4 video is the problem, the game was not written to support that obscure video card. It's a long shot at best, but you might want to try the tweaks found in the "GeForce Player Detail" sticky thread in this forum...or search for 3D Analyze.
