in the game, the jays alternate uni's have a grey hat, but they use the black hat in real life now. so i open EAGE, open models.big, and open the file for toronto's road grey uni's cause it uses the black hat, i click on "hat", and the picture of the black hat appears. so, i click, file, save as, and i save it , and its a bitmap image. (which im pretty sure is what its supposed to be). then i open the jays black uni file, click on hat, and the picture of the grey hat appears. i click on import wizard, and click on "import an existing external file into the current open image", i find my 'jayshat.bmp', wait for the "finished" popup, and i close eage. then i run the game, choose my black uni's and the game crashes. what am i doing wrong? thank you !!!

Are you compressing them, or are they even compressed at all? Use bigGUI and check if u013c.fsh (I think it's "c") is compressed. If it isn't, just compress it. I had the same problem once when I was trying to get rid of those stupid Black/Teal Mariners hats a while ago.

which one worked? we both said different things?

and bigbully when you extract with EAgraph the pics come out offset, in the pic above about 10pixels from the right have been displaced to the left

yeah it does but I've never seen where it made a difference in the game (not saying it won't ever, but I haven't seen it)

both, bully told me to use the PNG format, i was using the bmp format the whole time, and you told me to leave the FSH file uncompressed when extracting it. so thanks again.
