Nonetheless, it's a very good question. It is quite overwhelming reading thru all these postings and wondering if it's worth it to mod- for us computer newbies, it can be kinda intimidating extracting, backing up, etc. Wish there was ONE SIMPLE tutorial out there SOMEWHERE!

I have insatlled many mods [thanks everyone, by the way...the mods are really great!] I just D/L'd the latest Ultimate Roster set and no matter what I try, they don't go into the game. I was trying to locat Totte but I'm unable to find his profile to PM him.

There is no readme in the current roster mod. I extracted it to the database folder...it goes in, but....nothing. I cannot get it to install into the game.

Any help would be appreciated.

Ok... the reason why it's not working is because he made it that there is a dat folder that the .dat files go to. So when you install it to your datbase folder it's not really going to your database folder. It is going to a subfolder WITHIN the databse folder called "DAT". You need to go with windows explorer to your databse folder & you will see the above named folder called "dat". Go into the dat folder & cut the .dat files in there & paste it directly to the databse folder. Then it will work.

Edit... Make sure to say "yes to all" to overwrite the files when windows asks you if you want to overwrite.
