Sometimes a CPU will bat a looping flyball over my shortstops head to left-field and my shortstop will be the initial fielder until I scoff and take control of my LF...Sometimes the ball has little hangtime & i'll miss the catch cuz when the fielder you switch too staggers a bit....grrr....but it's nice when the CPU fielder miss those looping fly balls down the lines cuz they used the wrong player! :wtg: Link to comment https://www.mvpmods.com/forums/topic/13097-poor-fielding-first-baseman/#findComment-158665 Share on other sites More sharing options...
All_Star Posted July 18, 2005 Share Posted July 18, 2005 if u put it on assisted fielding (manual gets me too mad when i screw up :wall: ) for some reason only one or two fielders move when they hit the ball, like if its hit to the third basemen to his left the shortstop wont even go after it even tho it could be right too him, this game's fielding and just the way the ball moves is messed up too many drives get caught by the infield, in the major leagues a guy hits a linedrive over the shortstops head its a basehit, not so in MVP where the shortstop knows exactly where to go when the ball is hit.....
