sowapowa Posted July 18, 2005 Author Share Posted July 18, 2005 That actually happened to me. I was pitching with carlos zambrano facing jimmie foxx. I swear this guy hits a homer everytime i try to pitch to him. I think i beaned him a total of 5 times during the series and pitched to him 3 times and he homered twice. Well the sixth time i beaned him, he charged me and put zambrano out for 50+ games. After zambrano got back from the DL, I faced jimmie foxx again. Guess what happens? I beaned him the very next time i faced him with carlos zambrano and jimmie charged me. This time - he was out for 54 games. Bean on! jlaramay Posted July 18, 2005 Share Posted July 18, 2005 I've beaned a few batters (only in the minor league games though...)(My custom player is playing for Binghamton as of now) I haven't risked it in the majors with the Mets..I usually just risk pitching to them or intentionally walk them and set up for a double play...
