Oakland enters this year without two of their biggest names, Tim Hudson and Mark Mulder, but they still have great expectations with Barry Zito and several very good young players.

Clutch Hitting in Tampa

After seven innings of scoreless ball, the A's took a 2 run lead going into the bottom half of the eigth inning, but the D-Rays tied it up at two going into the ninth. Then Eric Chavez slammed the first pitch from reliever Casey Fossum in the top of the ninth. Octavio Dotel pitched one inning of one hit ball for the save.

Yea, I just couldn't hit with Byrnes and Swisher for some reason, but with Sizemore, I'm batting like .490 something.
