cybernetic
That's likely since Gronkiewicz has shown he can handle the closer's role now after his promotion from AA
cybernetic
so far I've just updated pitches for the day based off various sites.. mostly bluejayway.ca to add missing pitches/change velocities on pitches.. a few guys defense was changed.. a few I can think of are: OF Justin Singleton (AAA), SS Manny Mayorson (A) fielding has been improved.. both described as great fielding, poor hitting.. Mayorson is described as gold glove calibre OF John-Ford Griffin's arm strength has been reduced.. that is the main reason he hasn't been in the big league's yet.. he will likely be converted to a 1B soon.. he has decent defense in the outfield but a very poor arm and not a lot of range
cybernetic
Roster changes today: C Guillermo Quiroz returned to AAA from his rehab stint in single-A Dunedin Also C/1B Joey Reiman recalled from Mid-A Lansing to High-A Dunedin Roster on the 1st page was updated EDIT: Since this is a complete overhaul of the minor league system and I will be verifying all appearances/stances/etc before releasing it I will also create the missing guys and once all that is done.. I will run sims with the correct rosters, etc. to determine if the attributes are right It may take a month to create these rosters since I want them to be perfect so there is less massive corrections to make in the future
Don
sure, i would like it to be perfect when u release it. :wtg: one question- will u update the rosters after you are done version 1?
cybernetic
oh of course but most of those changes afterwards will involve more movements of players and adding of the occassional guy whereas the first one will cover all things such as appearance, tweaking of attributes, etc. Basically a complete overhaul of the players I have already, followed by creating of some new guys that are missing
JuUaAn
Would it be possible to have the opening day rosters? It could be difficult since there's probably been dozens of transactions and movements already, but I'm just wondering if it is possible. Thanks for making this btw. It's gonna be awesome! :wtg:
cybernetic
It's too much to do since there's been so many changes since then and guys have left the organization

cybernetic
that only has the major league ones but even then the Jays one is wrong becuase there's a couple fake players on there and the minor leagues are just completely wrong
cybernetic
A minor change in the Jays org. lefty Daryl Harang has been promoted to High-A from Mid-A and will pitch in middle relief.. another guy I don't have a CAP for
cybernetic
Updated all players height, weight and D.O.B. that needed changing (and that was a lot of minor leaguers)

cybernetic
Round of Jays inner moves: Corey Koskie came off the DL RHP Chad Gaudin went down to AAA Zach Jackson moved up to AAA from AA David Purcey moved up to AA from High-A Casey Janssen came off the DL in AA Rob Cosby went on the DL in AA Ricky Romero went up to High-A from Low-A
cybernetic
I just made a CAP for Ricky Romero he's now in High-A ball.. his pitches are based on an interview I read of his for insidethedome.com.. fastball 88-92, circle change (2-, curveball (12-6) and cutter (3-9).. I also used his profile on milb.com to do his DOB, ht, wt.. his pitching delivery is the same as Johan Santana's which is generic 2.. he describes himself as a very similar pitcher to him.. also I used pics from insidethedome.com to adjust his appearance (skintone 7, atheletic big chest, hair black, no facial hair, glove, lt. brown, high socks).. his hitting is rating low 20 contact/10 power vs. left.. 15 contact/10 power vs. right.. he bats R and pitches L.. he will never bat probably in the Jays org. unless it's interleague.. face is 908 but could change
cybernetic
Just a few minor league moves.. Don
so, can we expect this to be done in a couple of days or so?
cybernetic
The problem right now is I don't have a formule for creating non-pitchers.. I have some scouting reports for pitchers but I don't have enough info on the other guys or a lot of low A pitchers right now to create them.. also I have the problem of all the rosters being maxed out at 25 becuase of injured guys
Don
just put the injured guys in the FA list and when they recover put them back on the organization
cybernetic
But if you start a dynasty someone will take them especially the better guys like Roy Halladay. Also the free agents list is maxed at 255 as well.
Don
But if you start a dynasty someone will take them especially the better guys like Roy Halladay. Also the free agents list is maxed at 255 as well.so how are you going to finish this? Also, delete all the fake and retired players in FA pool. cybernetic
I don't believe there are any fake players in the FA pool but several of those guys could be on minor league teams or retired but I don't have to time to go over all of them
Don
one more note- Ted Lilly on 15-day DL, for his replacement- called up from AA, Dustin Mcgowen.
cybernetic
yeah I know I'm gonna update the roster on the main page as soon as I find out who was recalled to AA to replace McGowan.. by the way, I edited McGowan to match what I saw today.. his pitches seem to be the same as I had but minor things were changed mainly his socks to high and his glove color changed to light-brown
cybernetic
2B Carlo Cota was the guy who was promoted from High-A Dunedin.. no one has been called up to fill his spot in Dunedin
