Learning to bat

Hi everybody another time. Maybe i am a bit lost with the game  but i cant bat more than 2 or 3 hits in a game (in all star mode).

There is any tutorial to try do it best? I am playing with keyboard...

I Know that contact with the ball depends of speed, curve, position of the bat.. but to crash one ball on the right side of the strike zone (with a right player) the best is the right arrow?

Thanks a lot

Its usually easiest to go with the pitch, ie. hit an outisde pitch to the opposite field, or pull and inside pitch. You should probably put it down to pro at least til you get become a better batter, maybe?

But, yeh, there are some quality tutorials if you try a search.

I was smacking the ball to all fields and out of the park with regularity on pro and moved up to all-star last month.. I get the occassional blowout with a lot of hits but typically it's low scoring 10 or so hits per game and I do drive the ball the other way on outside pitches and pull inside or in the middle pitches.. although the CPU never gets many hits off of me if I'm hitting my spots and making pitches which is a lot like real life.. I made a mistake last night in a game against Beltre where I threw a fastball up and in and he took it for a strike then I came back again with a cut-fastball up and in and inside a bit more and he smacked it off the wall for a double
