The Tampa Bay Something Elses

I've been a Devil Rays fan since a couple years back, when the first MVP came to PC and I was looking for a nice "underdog" team to play as. This eventually turned into a real-life support for the team. However, one thing has always bugged me: the name of the franchise. I've always hated the name "Tampa Bay Devil Rays," it sounds so unprofessional.

Would it be possible to mod the game to change the name of the team, both graphically and audially? In theory, I could make some snazzy new uniforms to go along with the new name, but I have zero artistic ability (as seen by needing my sig to be made by someone else).

I was thinking of taking a name from one of the minor league teams, since audio already exists for the name, and just using the team name, so instead of saying "The Tampa Bay Devil Rays," Kuip would just say "The Curve" or whatever.

All that you mentioned is modable with the exception of changing what the commentators say. However, I don't know how to mod this, but I know it can be done.

Yes it can be done, you have to edit the loc and dat files. its fairly easy

I tried this, but every time I change FEENG.LOC the game crashes right after the initial loading screen. :help:
