Very inexplicable glitch: 4 seam fb/2 seam fb

I dont know if anyone else has had this problem before, I couldnt find any posts about it. But anyway. I started a new season with the Devil Rays, first time I've played with a non-Pirates team. And I noticed a few games into the season that 4 seam fastballs had the movement of a 2 seam fastball when the CPU was pitching. However, when I pitched my 4 seamer was normal and straight. I went back to my Pirates dynasty and tested it there. All was normal in that dynasty. This only occurs in new dynasties that I start, as I tested it on a new Giants dynasty.

I have tested this against several pitchers in my Devil Rays dynasty. All of the CPU's 4 seamers move like their 2 seamers. I double checked in the swing analysis replay.

Anyone else had this problem?

It's problably a mistake in the progression mod of yours.

Are you using Ultimate Rosters? I know that the authors have put movement on some 4 seam fastballs, so you might have been using a pitcher with movement on the 4 seamer. If you are using them, load the rosters in MVPEdit and look up the pitcher the CPU was using, then check his pitches.

Ah, thats probably it, Mark, as I just downloaded and started using ultimate. I wasnt aware that rosters could effect the way that a 4 seam fastball moves. :duh:
