I have searched the forum for this question and found one thread about changing them with a hex editor (or something like that) but is there a way for us non-programing computer types to change the titles easily?

I've got new music thanks to the Ditty Importer, would just like to change the names..

Any help?

What exactly are you trying to do? Put in a file for your music that should play when? Because if all you want is, to have your music play on the choose teams uniforms etc... screen, just rename your xxx.asf file to menu1.asf , menu2.asf etc... & overwrite the .asf files in the mvp baseball 2005/data/audio/cd/music folder. (make sure you used the ditty importer to actually convert your file to the .asf format, before actually renaming the file)

Thanks Shmooz... actually I've got the music in that I want. What I wanted to know is if there was some simple way to change the name of the music as it comes up and is played.. For example: Replace

Dropkick Murphy's "Tessie" with

John Fogerty - "Centerfield."

I saw something in the forums about doing it but it was very complicated and then someone said wrote something about using Fuzz's Studio to do it but I couldn't figure that out.

I got a question that runs along with this, how do i chage the music being played before the game starts, you know, the lineup music/between inning music? Because I would like to replace it with the fox theme song.

I know what you are referring to now. You can do it with a hex editor which is complicated. But you can't do it with the Fuzzeditor. That was only MVP 2004 that you could edit that with the fuzz editor of last year.

Thanks... I was afraid of that. Oh well, it's not a real "biggie." At least I've got the music I want.

You mean once you have chosen the teams & stadiums etc... Ask Uncle Mo... He has done it. In fact I have his national anthem music that plays as the pitcher is doing the warming up animation before the game starts.

Actually, there is a program called LocLook that allows you to edit different strings of text in FEENG.LOC and IGENG.LOC. You can find it over at MVPlanet.com. The names of the songs are found in FEENG.LOC. After you download the editor, just open FEENG.LOC, and you can search for any text to change it. It works great.
