tytyrone23
Hey guys, Whats up..I love this site and the guys who work on the rosters are great, I mean it obviously takes a lot of time. To cut to the chase, I have a dell deminsion desktop 2400 and it isn't a gaming computer whats so ever. It's about 1 year old but the gameplay seems to be like laggy offline as well as online is this to due the download of the rosters? or just because of my PC... Thanks for the answer! itjit
I too have a Dimension 2400, but I have absolutely no problems running the game. Problem may be your video card, or memory. Upgrade and you should have no problems.
NYM
I have a Dell Dimension 2400, and you will need a new graphics card. I tried MVP 2005 for my PC twice and it just doesn't work. Get a new graphics card. I'm not the one your looking for though if you want to know what to get or where to buy it. One of the other members should be able to help. itjit
I went with this card from Best Buy : http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?sk...d=1091099665193. It's been running everything that I've thrown at it, including Far Cry.

baseballfans
tytyrone23 the problem is the integrated video 2400 offer If U plan to use this system your only chance is to get PCI Video card. Please don't get PCI -X press Card cause they are 2 different thing. I recommend series 5200-5700le Nvidia or 8500-9250 ATI, all of them are PCI card that can run MVP. tytyrone23
Oh no, running the game isn't the problem. The graphics are def. not good I know that due to my video card, I can run the game no problem. It seems to lag when I put the rosters though on it...Should I delete stuff off my computer like other games would that help?.. I'd get a vid card, I just dont want to spend 300-400 dollars when Im getting the 360 in 4 months. Let me edit my post and also ask is there a way to get better graphics? Like possibly adjusting some display options in the game.

Are you sure you added nothing to your game but rosters?
tytyrone23
Nope, I just put in the version 9 of the roster update...I'm not sure, maybe it was in my mind lol.

It seems to lag when I put the rosters though on it...Should I delete stuff off my computer like other games would that help?.. Deleting files from your computer won't do you any good, unless you are using a lot of virtual memory and your disk space is low (less than 5% free). Also, what do you mean by lag? Generally, I use that to refer to online games, when you don't have a good connection to the server and as a result your game is choppy. I'd get a vid card, I just dont want to spend 300-400 dollars when Im getting the 360 in 4 months. If you want a good cheap video card, then get an nVidia GeForce 6600GT... it's around $150 and has comparable performance to the 6800 for $100 less. Let me edit my post and also ask is there a way to get better graphics? Like possibly adjusting some display options in the game. You won't get better graphics in your game unless your video card can handle it. Setting the graphics options too high will just cause more problems. tytyrone23
I mean like the game is choppy. Like your lagging online, but IM NOT playing online. Get it now? It really sucks but I only seem to get it when my rosters were on there I was thinking my computer possibly couldn't take the download due to memory space idk.. biker_jim_uk
you think wrong, the roster is merely player names and info and cannot affect the game speed in any way. And the download will not affect mamory space, as once you close the zip, it is released from memory.
