Tidalwav90
I am new to the site and modding and I just downloaded the newest roster update by baseballfanatik9 and the readme told me to backup the files. And I know this is a stupid question but how do you do that. Thanks and sorry in advance.
MarkB
Just copy the files you are replacing into another directory where the game won't access them. Welcome to the site. :)

Stix
Create a new folder on your computer called "backups" or what ever you wish for it to be named. Then copy the file you're about to overwrite(in your case the database folder), and paste it into your backups. Now extract BBFK9's roster into database and you installed it. If you ever encounter a problem with the roster or simply want the default roster, you copy the file in "backups" and paste it into the data folder and it will overwrite the current database back to the one in backups. theaub
I was going to ask this...so thanks. Can I create the "backups" folder in the MVP directory? Or should I just make a general one in the C drive?

It shouldn't matter I don't think. Just in the C Drive I guess to be safe.
