Gromit
Anyone want to help a 39 year old Baseball junkie? I've downloaded most of the available stadium mods, but seem to be having difficulty with the mods using batch files to install. I'm not new at this, as I've been using mods with the NHL series for several years. However, in MVP 2004 any of the stadium mods with .big files that require me to drop them directly into the C:Program FilesEA SPORTSMVP Baseball 2004datastadium folder are working fine. The mods using batch files are leaving me with numerous "Missing Texture" pics within the game (large red signs with white lettering). I am unzipping these files into the main MVP folder, and then running the batch file per the read-me. I have GFXPAK .59 installed in the main folder also. Specifically, they appear to be all by Pirate (JaredHartung @BBSC). Here's his read-me: How to Install Stadiums: Feel free to donate to jaredhartung@hotmail.com at paypal.com. Visit http://members.lycos.co.uk/jaredhartung/ for more stadiums and utilities. 1. Download File 2.Open .zip file. 3.Open internal .zip file named for time of day. 4. Extract files to main MVP Baseball 2004 directory: C:Program FilesEA SPORTSMVP Baseball 2004 5. Run the .bat file 6. That time of day for that stadium should be updated. 7. Repeat for the other time of day 8. Make sure that each time of day is installed seperately. All stadiums except grass textures are created by Jared Hartung (alias:Pirate) Grass Textures By: SerialMike I accept no responsibility for any damage this file or program causes your game or computer. It should not damage anything. Stadiums By: Pirate (JaredHartung @BBSC) For MVP Baseball 2004 Any idea what I'm missing? Thanks in advance! snepp
You need to make sure that you do only one stadium update at a time, and that you have the appropriate cram32.fsh and batch file used together. For example, if you run the stadiumday.bat, and have the night version of the cram32.fsh, you'll end up with missing textures. For best results... Put day.bat and the day's cram32 in the MVP directory, run the batch file, then delete the batch file and the cram32. Then put the night version bat and night version cram32 in the MVP directory. Repeat the process. The batch files are very specific for each stadium. snepp
Gromit
Ahhh. That's exactly what I've been doing wrong. I was unzipping all of the stadiums, and then running each batch file back-to-back. I'll do them individually. It'll take longer, but it'll work. Thanks for the knowledgeable response! :)
snepp
Good to hear you've got it to work. Now that you know you'll be able to help the next person that comes along with that problem (and it is a very common problem). :D

SolidWing68
I remember I did the same thing in nhl 2004 when I was installing uniform mods, board mods, etc..I would extract all the files to the main nhl 2004 directory, then run each .bat file one by one and like, a board mod i downloaded that was for the pittsburgh penguins, everytime i played the ny rangers, i'd see "the melon arena" logo on the boards at madison square garden
